When your family starts the core coaching programme, we decide if the ambitious student is to attend each session by themselves or with one or both parents or primary carers. Parents are the student's biggest fans and biggest enablers. Families are on different paths: some decide to let the young person go through the mentoring alone, while others choose to be present all the time, others yet decide to participate in some sessions and not others. You choose what is best for you. My personal preference is that parents and children both participate, as this leads to extensive benefits, but it is entirely up to you.
